A Growing Garden
It's been six weeks since we planted the garden and we've harvested our first crops - "firecracker" radishes!
First lesson learned, if you don't water radishes enough during the growing process, they are spicy! As for the rest of the garden, the photo below on the right gives you a good overview. Carrots, radishes, and corn across the front (l to r) and the beans are ready to climb up the ladder in the back.
Tomatoes and peppers are off to the far right (not pictured) and are starting to show small fruits. Also, we've got an indoor herb garden growing with sage, parsley, basil, chives and mint. 
Pretty soon we'll be self-sufficient...at least making salads! Along those lines, a little Tucson trivia: Did you know that Biosphere 2 is located in Tucson?
